We started ShopAround after we found out ourselves just how difficult it was to compare electricity rates. That’s when we thought that a service that does all the hard work for the consumer in an easy-to-understand format was a great idea!
We've now added finance products to the site to bring you a range of products that can help you save money on your living costs.

We list deals available from our participating suppliers and also from suppliers whose energy prices are readily available. We find this is the best way to ensure that the electricity and gas prices we show you are accurate and up-to-date. Not all the energy companies make their prices publically available so we take the guess-work out of the process and make sure you’re given the most accurate comparison possible. If you decide to switch using our service, we receive a fee from your new energy company.
