At ShopAround, we aim to give you the best possible choice. We have launched our online comparison service in Victoria and South Eastern NSW and the ACT. We are working hard to finalise commercial arrangements with all of the electricity and gas suppliers in those states.

In addition to the products offered by our participating suppliers, so we can offer you a better service and give a more meaningful comparison of electricity companies and gas suppliers. We would like to list all the suppliers products, but not all energy suppliers make their prices publically available. So we have elected to show you those products where we can be best assured that we can obtain accurate prices.

Whilst other electricity comparison and gas price comparison sites may list as many gas and electricity companies as possible, there is no way they can guarantee to you that the electricity prices and gas costs listed to compare are accurate.

We are proud to offer the products of Actew AGL, Click Energy, Country Energy and Red Energy on our site. These electricity providers and gas suppliers are showing their commitment to customer service by participating in a service that makes it easy for you to compare gas prices and electricity tariffs in Victoria and South Eastern NSW.

You can find a full list of energy suppliers licensed to trade in Victoria on the Essential Services Commission website.

You can find a full list of electricity suppliers licensed to trade in NSW on the IPART website.

We’ll soon be launching our service in South Australia and Queensland and further areas of NSW.
