Ballarat Mildura and Bendigo Switch Electricity Suppliers and Save
Following a recent spate of complaints to the Mildura Weekly about soaring electricity bills Mildura residents have now been given the opportunity to easily save money on their power bills and switch to a new electricity supplier in under 5 minutes.
With the electricity and gas markets now open to full competition in Victoria electricity consumers can now shop around for the best supplier. But choosing a new supplier and comparing deals can be time consuming and confusing.
A new service has been launched which easily allows residents and small businesses to see in a few minutes just how much money they can save on their electricity and gas bills. They can then complete their switch to their choice of supplier either online or by phone.
ShopAround.com.au provides this free comparison and switching consumer service. The service offers deals from Country Energy, Red Energy (owned by the Snowy Hydro), Actew AGL and online electricity supplier Click Energy.
From 1 January 2009 the Victorian Government will remove the final regulatory price cap that sets the maximum electricity companies can charge residences for their electricity. With this final consumer protection to go, there will be more uncertainty around electricity prices and there has never been a better time to see what deals are out there on the market and consider the swtich to a new electricity or gas supplier in Victoria.
