Lots of Gain with no Pain!
With the economic downturn upon us, there are plenty of ways for Victorian families and businesses to save money without making any sacrifices.
The new year saw across the board price rises from most of Victoria's electricity suppliers and gas companies. The price rise was accompanied by a change to the regulatory system. Victorian electricity retailers are no longer limited in what they can charge consumers but they are now required to publish their rates and electricity prices should soon be available on the Essential Service's Commission website.
This change means that if Victorian households and businesses are to save money on their gas and electricity they must take responsibility to shop around and compare electricity to ensure they go and switch to the cheapest electricity or gas supplier.
