Step 2 – Choose the electricity or gas supplier's deal that best suits you
Participating electricity and gas suppliers are listed on the comparison table according to the criteria that’s chosen by you – whether that’s the lowest electricity price or gas price, by supplier name or green renewable energy ratings. We offer ShopAround customers a completely unbiased and independent service on behalf of our participating suppliers, with all the available electricity plans adn gas plans only listed according to the criteria that you select.
Once you’ve checked out the available energy deals and selected which is the best electricity or gas plan for you, just click on “Apply” and we’ll take you step by step through the hassle free process to switch to your new electricity or gas supplier’s plan. All at no cost to you!
Step 3 – Switch online!
Your privacy is important to us so we’ll only ask for your personal information once you’ve decided which electricity or gas plan you want to switch to. Once your details are entered you review the terms & conditions of the deal before making the final decision to switch. Once you’ve completed your switch, we’ll send you a confirmation email and a few days later you’ll also get confirmation by post. And that’s it! All the work’s done for you. We’ll advise your new energy company of your decision to switch and they’ll arrange for your power or gas supply to be transferred over to them from your old energy supplier. Depending on the supplier you have chosen, this may be done immediately or after your meter is next read. You’ll then receive bills and charges from your new electricity or gas supplier. If for any reason, you change your mind, you have a 10 cooling off period of 10 business days when you can withdraw from the new electricity or gas deal.
