No, they won’t! Switch to save money but get the same great electrictity and gas supply as before.
When you switch to a new electricity supplier or gas company nothing actually changes in the way that the power you use is generated by power stations or windmills, nor does the way that the electricity or gas is actually delivered to your house or office via the network poles, pipes and wires actually change.
The electricity or gas supply to your home or business will continue totally uninterrupted and there will be no difference to how you will be able to use electricity or gas in your daily lives.
All that changes is that a different company (the power supplier you have chosen) is now buying your electricity or gas from the national electricity or gas grid on your behalf, and taking responsibility to ensure that you are supplied the electricity or gas you need for your household or business.

If you are using the ShopAround service to arrange electricity or gas connection for a home you are moving into or a new business site, please be sure to enter these details when asked. Switching normally takes a few weeks at least, but we can arrange for move-in connections so long as you give us at least 2 days business notice.
